Search for best ‘green' buildings

HCM CITY — The Viet Nam Architects Association has decided to run a competition to seek out the best "green" buildings.

According to the group, a green building must not be a threat to the surrounding environment or ecosystem, must use a minimal amount of natural resources, and be adaptable to climate change.

Entries for the competition close in April. Buildings that qualify will be issued with certificates. — VNS
