Heavy fog blankets Nghe An Province

NGHE AN — Heavy fog has enveloped central Nghe An Province for the past week between the hours of 6 and 7am.

The weather has affected agricultural production and local travel conditions with Vinh Airport forced to delay five flights due to limited visibility.

The weather has created favourable conditions for insects to flourish and local authorities have instructed farmers to carry out measures to protect plants and animals.

Beer shops break environmental rules

HA NOI — Two beer shops in Ha Noi were found to be violating environmental regulations on Sunday by the city's Environment Police.

The restaurants failed to show environment protection commitment papers and licences that allow them to release their waste water into the city's waste water system.

Water samples from the shops were taken for analysis by the city's Natural Resources and Environment Department.-VNS
