Fisherman catches cylindrical 5kg fish

KIEN GIANG — A resident has caught a strange 1-metre-long fish in the canal in front of his house on Vinh Vien Street, Rach Gia City, in the southern province of Kien Giang.

The fish weighed nearly 5 kilos and had a cylindrical body and yellow scales.

After catching the fish, the resident sold it to his neighbour for VND1.8 million ($95), and it is now on display. — VNS
