Lao PM welcomes Justice minister

HA NOI – Lao Prime Minister Bouason Bouphavanh yesterday welcomed Vietnamese Minister of Justice Ha Hung Cuong to close out his working visit to the country which began last Sunday.

At the meeting, Bouphavanh expressed his belief that Cuong's visit would help strengthen the friendship and special solidarity between the two countries.

He thanked Viet Nam's Ministry of Justice for helping their Lao counterparts with human resources training and expected the two ministries would strengthen experience sharing and continue to learn from each other in order to contribute to the development of both countries.

On Thursday, Cuong and his Lao counterpart, Chaleune Yiapaoher, agreed to boost bilateral co-operation in human resources training.-VNS

Delegates at the 11th National Party Congress yesterday voted to elect members for the 11th Party Central Committee, which will consist of 175 official and 25 alternate members.
As many as 175 official and 25 alternate members will be elected to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) for the 11th tenure.
Delegates to the 11th National Party Congress yesterday made recommendations to draft documents submitted.
