Liem frustrated by second stalemate

International Grandmaster Le Quang Liem drew with Viorel Iordachescu of Moldova in the third round of the Aeroloft Open on Thursday.

Iordachescu succeeded in stopping the Vietnamese top player's attacks which resulted in a draw after 35 moves in Moscow.

Liem is currently in the eighth place at the tournament with two points.-VNS

The defending champion will compete against Parimarjan Negi of India in the fourth round.
