Alert issued against scam labour export broker

HA NOI – Police in Ha Noi's Hoang Mai District have issued a most wanted alert against a scam labour export scam who has allegedly stolen more than VND2.6 billion (US$125,300) from clients.

Director of the Trading Joint Stock Company in Phap Van New Residential Area Nguyen Duc Thuan, 30, allegedly accepted the money in exchange for a promise to help people complete the necessary procedures to work in Japan and Canada.

Thuan disappeared after taking the money.

Police said Thuan's company was not authorised to conduct labour export activities. – VNS
