Biology student wins Eureka research prize

HCM CITY— The special Eureka 2011 Award for scientific research was awarded to a student from the HCM City University of Science's biology faculty yesterday.

Nguyen Thi Mai received VND15 million (US$715) and a merit certificate from the municipal People's Committee for her research project on Parkinson's disease.

A total of 63 prizes were handed out. — VNS
